Is Avatar Coach a medical or therapeutic device?×

No. It is an educational support tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or provide therapy for any condition, and it does not replace ABA, speech therapy, or any clinical intervention. Clinical efficacy has not been established; the product is in field-usability piloting.

What data is collected, and where is it stored?+

Child data lives behind teacher login only. Face recognition vectors are encrypted at rest and original photos are never stored. Names are replaced before any text reaches an AI model. Data is hosted on servers operated by N-SCREEN in the Republic of Korea.

Does it decide why a child behaves the way they do?+

No. Avatar Coach records what happened during a session — prompts given, independent responses, response time. Forming a hypothesis about behavioral function and choosing an intervention remain with the teacher and support team. We document; we do not decide.

How do children sign in?+

A teacher signs in once. From that screen a child either taps their name tile or is recognized by face. Children never reach the teacher console.
